Chair Massage

This is done in a special chair and is a great for quick pick-ups for $1.25 per minute/$35.00 per 1/2 hour. Also used on-sites at offices and special events for $80.00 an hour per therapist.

Botanical Body Brush

A brush is used to gently dry exfoliate and stimulate your skin while the air is infused with aromatherapy. Treatment is completed with a refreshing mist and aromatherapy lotion application.

Reflexology

The feet have 7,200 nerve endings that relate back to the whole body and its organ systems. The entire body is reflected on hands and feet, so any of these areas can be worked to produce effective results. Reflexology is specific pressure applied with thumbs and fingers, to the feet and/or hand areas to create a relaxation response. It can target specific ailments, aches and pains through the breaking apart of adhesions containg lactic acid; promotes dextoxification and a metabolism boost for the body. Treatments can be done on their own or directed into a session along with classic massage techniques. (Contraindicated in 1st trimester of pregnancy)

Shaitsu

Zen Shaitsu is complete system of healing through touch that draws on key aspects of Traditional Oriental Medicine. This meditative form of the Japanese healing arts focuses on balancing the flow of "ki" (life force) energy throughout the body. By the use of direct pressure along specific "meridians" (energy pathways), this treatment helps to resotre vitality and prevent desease. Treatment is performed on a futon on the floor or on the massage table depending on the therapist preference. Clients are encouraged to wear loose comfortable clothing in order to incorporate stretches, holding, and compressions to improve energy flow, blood circulation, flexibility, and posture. Treatments can be done on their own or directed into a session along with classic massage techniques.
